To God Be the Glory
for the things He has done

Praise God from whom all blessings flow. Superintendent John C. Robinson and Mother Mabel Robinson have set a standard of true holiness according to God’s word.  It is “by faith, with faith and through faith” the church has been going forth in the community for over 34 years.

By faith the church was established, with faith, it is still a vital part of this community and through faith, we are yet trusting that the Lord will continue to see the church through. First Church is a house of worship and praise. As a house of worship, we lift our hands in the sanctuary (Psalm 134:2).   As a house of praise, we shout unto God with a voice of triumph (Psalm 47:1b).  The word of God is taught. “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness”:  2 Timothy 3:16 and “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”  2 Timothy 2:15)

NOVEMBER 6 – 14, 2017 | ST. LOUIS, MO

Welcome to First Church of God in Christ
Words from Pastor:
Our prayer for you is that the God of all grace anoints you with fresh oil and His precious Spirit illuminates the Word as you read. May He empower you to effectively communicate to others the vibrant hope that He has given you to persevere the struggles that you have overcome and continue to overcome. Furthermore, my wife and I pray that your home be a reflection of the joy and peace that God has promised to all of His children who follow Him. We bless your children, the fruit of your body. We speak life into your marriage, your ministry, and your mission. As you lie down at night we pray for more than sleep. We pray for rest. Rest in Him and arise refreshed for we need you. Your prayers, your support and your love are important to us. So we pray you will take care of yourself.

Prayer Request
Do you have a prayer request? What does the Bible say about  prayer? Philippians 4:6 states, "Do not be anxious about anything but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. "  In 1 John 5:14 it states, "And this is the confidence that we have toward Him.  If we ask according to His will, He hears us."
